An Aternoon with Jens Towet..
Hi Folks,
I took a drive to kevelaer near the Dutch Border today ( friday afternoon traffic and it was a nightmare ) to visit Mr Jens Towet ,Luthier for Guitars and Violins, who is named in the internet site from " K & K Pickups " as one of the few who can install the pickup properly, this is a passive pickup Western Mini Transducer and it sounds fantastic, it has a warm sound and I now possess Two Guitars with these Pickups, it was a educational and interesting afternoon, sawdust floors, and strong black Coffee, it was like taking a step into the past, incidently you can also read an interesting article in the Acoustic Guitar Magazine 2nd Quarter edition 2011 about the new
" Paul Joses signature model ".
To sum it all up it has been an exciting day and not to expensive, I wish Jens all the best for his Company and also in his new premises in the future.

Gardening can be so nice " sometimes "
Pure open air flair at the " Night of the Gardens " landscape and garden expert Oliver Ochsenfahrt put on a fantastic event in Schalksmühle,, it was also a pleasure to play with Chris and Heinrich, and hopefully again next year ???..

And what a wonderfull evening it was in the Weinhandel Plat, or maybe better known as "Rendez-vous du vin", we were well catered for and looked after from Andrea & Pierre, a perfect mixture of Blues and Cambert..
